Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
When you use the Financial Freedom Score quiz, the free calculators, the “Join the Team” form, or the Book a Call flow, we may collect: your name; email address; phone number (only if you provide it, or if you opt in to SMS reminders); your zone/region (US, CA, or PR); your quiz answers and calculator inputs; your appointment preferences; and which SoFin mentor or link referred you (via a rep code stored in your browser's local storage, not a tracking cookie shared across sites).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use this information to: (a) route you to the appropriate SoFin mentor/community member; (b) send you your quiz or calculator results if you request them by email; (c) send educational follow-up emails and, if you separately opt in, SMS reminders about a booked call; (d) attribute your visit to the mentor whose link you used, so the right person follows up with you; and (e) improve our tools and content.
3. Who We Share Information With
Your information is shared with the specific SoFin mentor/community member assigned to you (via our internal team workspace, “SoFin Roost”), and with the service providers we use to operate the site: an email delivery provider (Resend) to send transactional/educational emails, and Google, if you book a call through a mentor's Google Calendar scheduling page. We do not sell your personal information.
4. SMS & Email Consent
We only send SMS messages if you affirmatively check the SMS consent box and provide a phone number. You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP, and out of email at any time via the unsubscribe link. Message and data rates may apply to SMS.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
We use your browser's local storage (not third-party ad-tracking cookies) to remember which mentor's link referred you, so that credit for your visit and any leads you submit stays with that mentor even if you browse multiple pages or return later. This value only clears if you manually clear your browser's site data.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the service and follow up with you, or until you ask us to delete it (see below).
7. Your Rights
You can ask the SoFin mentor or team member who has your information to update or delete it at any time. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law (e.g., access, correction, deletion, or portability).
8. Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
